Dear families,
Our show is just around the corner, and we are very excited to see everything come together on stage!
Please read the following information carefully, as it includes important details about rehearsals, costumes, and performance days.
📅 IMPORTANT DATES & TIMES
Saturday, May 9 – Dress Rehearsal & Show
Dress Rehearsal (at the theater): 9:30am – 3:10pm
Show: 5:00pm – 6:30pm
Sunday, May 10 – Show Only
Show: 3:30pm – 5:00pm
No flamenco rehearsal on Sunday
📍 Location: Redmond Performing Arts Center
⏰ Arrival Time (Saturday Show):
All dancers must arrive no later than 4:20pm
⚠️ ATTENDANCE
From April 25th until the show, please do not miss any classes.
All classes will function as dress rehearsals, so dancers must come prepared with full attire.
👗 COSTUMES & GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Full costume required for rehearsals and performances
No eating in costume
Please label all belongings
Dancers should arrive:
15 minutes early
With hair and makeup fully done
Required:
Nude tights (NO socks)
Leotard and skirt
Flamenco shoes
Hair in bun, braid, or neat ponytail
Flowers in hair (required)
💄 HAIR & MAKEUP
Hair:
Clean and secure (bun, braid, or ponytail)
Use gel/hairspray to smooth hair
Add flowers, flamenco pins, or peinetas if available
Hair net matching hair color recommended
Makeup:
Rose-colored blush
Dark pink/red lipstick
Light brown eyeshadow (color optional) + black mascara
No glitter or gems
Hair assistance will be available at the theater from 2:00pm–4:30pm if needed.
🎭 DRESS REHEARSAL – SATURDAY, MAY 9 (AT THE THEATER)
Please check your dancer’s specific rehearsal time and costume details in the full schedule attached.
⚠️ Note:
The following groups DO NOT need a theater rehearsal:
Anton Pirulero
Mix de Rumbas
Rosa María
(They will rehearse at the studio instead.)
🎉 FINALE – FIN DE FIESTA (SEVILLANAS)
All dancers will participate in the finale.
Dancers should wear the last costume used in the show (no changing back)
Sevillanas will be performed in multiple sections (coplas), with group assignments
Please refer to the full schedule for detailed group assignments.

For the finale, if the dancers had an outfit change during the show, for this finale the dancers
shall wear the last outfit they wear in the show, so they don’t have to change back again.
Sevillanas is 4 songs divided into 3 parts (COPLAS), but we will have an extra one, the fifth one.

Wednesday at 7:40pm → Clapping
Thursday at 7:45pm → 1 st and 2 nd Copla
Monday (Pro) at 7:40pm → Entrance + 3 steps from 2 nd copla + 3 rd copla

Tuesday at 11:30am (the ones that don’t want to dance) → Clapping
Youth Ensamble at 6:00pm (teenagers) → 1 st Copla
Thursday at 6:30pm and Tuesday at 11:30am → 2 nd and 3 rd Coplas
3. Third Sevillana
Puesta del Sol → 1 st Copla

SUNDAY MAY 10TH
NO REHEARSAL FOR FLAMENCO
COSTUMES:
We want to reiterate that there is absolutely no eating in costume.
Please label all belongings as they do tend to get lost.
We will be rehearsing in costume.
Dancers should wear:
Nude tights, strictly NO socks
Leotard and skirt
Appropriate shoes for flamenco
Hair in a bun or a braid
Make up done
HAIR:
Should be styled in a bun, a braid, or a neat ponytail, making sure to smooth down any small baby hairs around the face using gel or hairspray. In addition, we will decorate it with flowers, as shown in the example below.
Items you will need for a bun: hair tie, comb, gel, hairspray, hairnet, bobby pins, COLORFUL FLOWERS AND FLAMENCO PINS, PEINECILLOS if you have them.
PLEASE DO NOT FORGET FLOWERS IN THE HAIR
