APRIL

  • NO CLASS THIS saturday april 11th / sPRING bREAK

  • Yes for class next week on Saturday April 18th

  • SHOW ON APRIL 19TH, SUNDAY: cHILDRENS FESTIVAL AT THE SEATTLE CENTER

  • saturday april 25th: THE CLASS WILL BE from 2-3pm and it will be TAUGHT BY OUR GUEST ARTIST FROM CADIZ, SPAIN: MARTA ORTIZ DEUSTO, PLEASE dO not miss it!!!

More about the Seattle International Children’s Friendship Festival

Where: Fisher Pavilion at the Seattle Center

Coordinates: Right in between Climate Pledge and the Armory there is a grass area. The Fisher Pavilion is right in front that grass area

Street parking in Seattle is free on Sundays

Time: 4:50pm is Semilla Flamenca’s slot to be on stage

Meeting point: Please be there before 4:30, there is check in table for performers, we will meet there.

Costume: Leotard, skirts, hair done (Any beautiful way you prefer) with a red flower in their hair, flamenco shoes and nude tights.

Side note, my Mexican Folk Dance students will be on stage at 3pm… So I will be around for a while there if there is anything you need…

  • saturday may 2nd: THE CLASS WILL BE from 2-3pm and it will be TAUGHT BY OUR GUEST ARTIST FROM CADIZ, SPAIN: MARTA ORTIZ DEUSTO, PLEASE dO not miss it!!!

  • this group will dance on the Saturday may 9th show.

    • NO REGULAR CLASS THAT DAY

    • DRESS REAHEARSAL AT THE THEATER FROM 10-11AM

  • please make sure they get at the theater before 4:15, they will be with cristina and we will start getting them ready for the show. tHEY WILL BE PART OF THE VERY BEGINNING OF THE SHOW, once they are done with their dance, they can seat down and enjoy the REST. At the end, before the last song, which is called -cafe cafe- make sure they are already in the backstage so we can all vow together. I will be sending the program next week.

  • as a side note this show is going to be a soldout. Please don’t wait until the week of the show to get tickets. i feel pretty bad when friends and family can not make it to the show, but they are extremely strict in the max capacity.

  • saturday may 23rd no classes/Memorial Day

  • on Sunday May 31st, the older girls will be dancing with the Orchestra and the Mariachi as well!!! at the Seattle Town Hall… It is a free event, so I am adding a link to get the free tickets if you are interested:
