APRIL

  •  NO CLASS ON SATURDAY APRIL 11TH

  • YES FOR CLASS ON SATURDAY APRIL 18TH

  • SHOW ON APRIL 19TH, SUNDAY: cHILDRENS FESTIVAL AT THE SEATTLE CENTER

  • SATURDAY APRIL 25TH, MANDATORY CLASS WITH OUR GUEST FROM CADIZ, MARTA ORTIZ DEUSTO

What: Seattle International Children’s Friendship Festival

Where: Fisher Pavilion at the Seattle Center

Coordinates: Right in between Climate Pledge and the Armory there is a grass area. The Fisher Pavilion is right in front that grass area

Street parking in Seattle is free on Sundays

Time: 4:50pm your kids will be on stage

Meeting point: Please be there before 4:30, there is check in table for performers, we will meet there.

For girls: Black leotard, flower skirts, hair done (Any beautiful way you prefer) with a flower in their hair that matches their peach or pink flower skirts, flamenco shoes and nude tights.

Side note, my Mexican Folk Dance students will be on stage at 3pm… So I will be around for a while there if there is anything you need…

  • SATURDAY may 2nd, MANDATORY CLASS WITH OUR GUEST FROM CADIZ, MARTA ORTIZ DEUSTO

  • our 2 shows, this group will dance both days: Saturday May 9th @5pm and Sunday May 10th @3:30pm

  • On Saturday May 9th, the day of the first show, instead of having a regular class at the studio, we will meet exactly at 9:30 at the theater to do a dress rehearsal, keeping the same schedule on your Saturday morning 9:30-11:30. Please come back before 4:30 to drop off the girls on the backstage so they can get ready for the show. The chaperone mom in charge of this group will be Carola (Olivia’s mom). This group is going to open the show. They can go seat down and enjoy the show after her Tangos song. We will have a song all together at the end to vow, so before they song: **CAFE CAFE** which will be the last one of the show, they have to be back on the backstage.

  • on sunday May 10th we wont have any rehearsals, the girls just have to show up before 3pm to be ready on the backstage with their group.

  • saturday may 23rd we won’t have classes, at that point you will probably be happy not to have a flamenco class =)

  • Thursday may 28th we will have a rehearsal with the orchestra at the sunset hill community club in Ballard at 6:45pm

  • sunday may 31st we will be performing at the seattle town hall with the orquestra northwest. The show starts at 2pm and the girls need to be there at 1:20pm
