2025 was super ambitious with the 2 trips to Spain and the Albuquerque Festival.

Traveling together and spending more quality time increases my girls (And adults!) bond and camaraderie exponentially.

This year, I wanted the students to also have great options, but to keep it real yet fantastic, I am turning our head to Vancouver with Rosario Ancer, the Director of the Vancouver Flamenco Festival.

We have 2 opportunities coming:

• July 20th-24th 2026 - Artist in Residence Master Classes

• Sept 19th-27th Vancouver International Flamenco Festival

ARTIST IN RESIDENCE: IRENE MORALES Jul 20th-24th

Every year, Flamenco Rosario invites an international artist to share their unique style and interpretation of Flamenco. This year, they welcome the world-renowned flamenco dancer, Irene Morales!

This are the workshops offered, and they all happen at the Dance Center in Downtown Vancouver.

They currently offer the following classes:

Básico
6:00 pm - 7:15 pm
Intermediate
7:15 pm - 8:30 pm
Advanced
8:30 pm - 9:45 pm

The cost of each class is about 240 USD for the week.

I am definetly going to be there, and I do have a cousin living in Vancouver that I visit recurrently… But, if there is enough quorum… We can rent an Airbnb together or, stay at the same hotel.

So let me know before April 10th if you are interested and I will start organizing this.

VANCOUVER INTERNATIONAL FLAMENCO FESTIVAL 2026

Ideally travelling from the 20th-27th of September…. But if taking a full week of school is too ambitious, we can do a plan Be 23rd ord 24th until Sept 27th

On Saturday 26th Rosario Ancer has invited us to open one of the shows that will happen in Granville Island (Downtown)
